Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
